Abigail Havermann, MSW
Investment Advisor Representative
At 12 years old, Abby twisted a few arms to be hired at McDonald’s (the legal age at the time was 13) and began to save money. She loved watching her bank account swell and the freedom it provided her to buy herself a car at 15, much to her mother’s chagrin. Although she couldn’t yet drive, her sister could, and the car allowed both of them the independence every teenager craves.
Despite her financial savvy, Abby’s natural skill set and desire to contribute to a larger good, led her to a Masters program in Social Work. Over the next 15 years post grad school Abby worked as a therapist in a number of settings and ultimately went into business for herself opening a private practice in downtown Denver. Among other things, she helped couples navigate their relationships - not only with each other, but with money as well.
Shortly after Brian and Abby met, they decided to join forces in life and in business and in 2007. Abby earned her Series 7 and began working at Havermann Financial. She has subsequently obtained her series 65. Abby gains great satisfaction in finding solutions to her clients’ financial concerns, and allocating portfolios accordingly.
When not working she is busy keeping track of the family’s schedule, attending her 14 year olds’ baseball games, and trying to come up with acceptable answers to her 6 year old's many important questions on life. In the rare moments she has to herself, if not out exercising, she might be found hiding with her computer in a remote corner of a Starbucks, writing.
